Overview
The SmartSAS is an RFID cabinet fitted with two doors – back and front - providing a technology-monitored 'handshake' between physically separated areas. The system was designed for the diamond business workflow where authorized staff hand over diamonds from one authority perimeter to another. The system automatically alerts staff that goods are ready for collection and acknowledges the goods transfer.
The SmartSAS is derived from the PLEXUS™ SmartBox product, using many of its award-winning design and functional characteristics and controlled with the same middleware and application software.
Its double iron-layered bracket allows the SmartSAS to be built into an anchored wall aperture. The double plate-fixing structure is adjustable to the thickness of the wall, and unbreakable. The unit is biometrically armed for RFID access control, and has sensors for shock, door or volumetric attacks. Customized alarms can be configured according to requirements.
