Overview
The SmartBoard is an RFID desktop reader featuring outstanding 3-D reading capability for scanning large tag populations, irrespective or orientation or proximity. The active scan volume of the reader matches its area up to a height of about 15 cm, permitting the reading of approximately two layers of products – diamonds, watches, jewellery. It is ideal for quick processing and reading of items as they are passed between processes and individuals.
The SmartBoard is a complementary product to the PLEXUS™ range of RFID cabinet products. Before they are stored in PLEXUS™ cabinets or handed over for further processing, tagged items can be quickly and accurately identified in large numbers, regardless of how they are positioned on the reader surface.
Integrated shielding prevents the accidental reading of nearby tags so that several SmartBoard units can be placed side by side.
